Green Elephant Social Enterprise (GESE) operates with a dual core mission: to assist businesses in advancing ESG and sustainability initiatives, and to promote environmental sustainability development within schools and communities.
Our professional team possesses diverse expertise and relevant professional licenses across key areas, including Sustainable Finance, Environmental Greening Engineering, Environmental Education, and Farm-to-Table Education (Agri-food Education). GESE has actively participated in and witnessed Taiwan’s deepening shift from traditional environmental education toward comprehensive ESG implementation.
Since its establishment in 2009 (Minguo 98), Green Elephant has focused on promoting corporate sustainability education, school-based environmental education, and farm-to-table practices. Our successful past projects include the “Green Island Elephant Waste Activation Environmental Education Project,” as well as the ongoing “Elephant Farmer Agri-food Education Project” and the “Agri-food Rice Education Project.”
Furthermore, GESE has significantly contributed to the establishment of well-equipped environmental greening and educational sites in Taiwanese schools. Our impact has grown substantially, with over 100 partner schools across Taiwan by 2025.
In alignment with the Financial Supervisory Commission’s (FSC) “Green Finance Action Plan 3.0,” launched in 2022 to guide capital toward low-carbon and sustainable industries, GESE’s core services are now focused on supporting businesses in four key areas: Sustainable Finance ESG, Green Office practices, Environmental Greening, and Automatic Drip Irrigation Systems.
